I have been working in media relations for more than ten years, with a specialty in covering consumer events and trade shows. My focus has been on writing crisp and informative releases designed to attract media attention for my clients' events. Through my past and present clients, as well as their exhibitors, I have gained a somewhat more than general knowledge of many industries, including home and garden, motorcycles, old cars, medical marijuana, pets, gifts and accessories and more.

I was born in South Africa and raised in Canada where I attended the University of Western Ontario. I ran an ostrich farm and did a stint in the Canadian Militia, among other unique experiences.

I recently wrote a fantasy story for young adults, which I am in the process of attempting to get published.
